Really fast.&#xA;But that speed puts a lot of pressure on the connectors and the ends of the lamp. If you go with a cheap housing, that heat eventually eats away at the wiring. That&amp;rsquo;s why we stick with high-temperature ceramics. It keeps the socket from frying itself during those brutal winter months.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The honest trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: you can&amp;rsquo;t get something for nothing.&#xA;Whenever you add a coating to block light, you lose a tiny bit of the heat energy too.
